Technical Requirements
Our platform works with most modern systems. We've built it to be flexible because we know everyone's setup is different. Here's what you'll need to get started.
Hardware Basics
Any dual-core processor from the past seven years should work fine. We're not doing heavy rendering here.
4GB RAM minimum. If you're running multiple browser tabs alongside our tools, 8GB makes life easier.
About 500MB of available space. Financial statements and cached data don't take much room.
1366x768 resolution or higher. The interface adapts to smaller screens, but spreadsheets get cramped below that.
Software Environment
Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.14+, or any recent Linux distribution with a modern browser.
Broadband connection recommended. The platform works on slower connections but report generation might take longer.
Most systems have one built in. You'll need it for downloading completed analysis reports.
Optional but useful. Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice Calc for exporting raw data.
Browser Compatibility
We test extensively across different browsers. Some features work better in certain environments, but the core functionality is solid everywhere.
Chrome
Version 90 or newer. Our primary development browser, so everything runs smoothly here.
Firefox
Version 88 or newer. Excellent performance with our charting libraries.
Safari
Version 14 or newer. Works well on both Mac and iOS devices.
Edge
Chromium-based versions. Same performance profile as Chrome.

                        Real-World Performance
I've been testing financial software for fifteen years, and honestly, most technical requirements are overstated. tarenquixal runs on hardware that's way past its prime without issues.
The real bottleneck is usually internet speed. If you're uploading large Excel files with thousands of transactions, a stable connection matters more than processor speed. We've optimized file compression on our end, but there's only so much we can do.
One thing people overlook is browser extensions. Ad blockers and privacy tools sometimes interfere with data visualization. If charts aren't loading, try disabling extensions temporarily.

                        Security and Connectivity
Encrypted Connections
All data transfers use TLS 1.2 or higher. Your financial information never travels unencrypted. We also enforce HSTS to prevent downgrade attacks.
Firewall Considerations
Corporate networks sometimes block our API endpoints. If you're behind a strict firewall, you'll need to whitelist tarenquixal.org and our CDN subdomains. IT departments usually clear this quickly.
Two-Factor Authentication
Optional but strongly recommended. Works with most authenticator apps. SMS backup is available for regions where app-based authentication isn't practical.
Session Management
Sessions timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity. Unsaved work gets cached locally, so you won't lose progress if your connection drops briefly.
